A neighbourhood bakery in Oi Man Estate, Ho Man Tin, has attracted crowds of visitors with its occasional “$30 for 20 Seconds All-You-Can-Grab Bread” event. Online registrations filled up within 5 minutes, creating a lively atmosphere at the shop.

Some participants managed to grab over HK$90 worth of bread, including several of the shop’s most popular items. Reporters on the scene observed a variety of strategies: some participants targeted larger loaves first then filled the gaps with smaller items, while others prioritised speed and grabbed whatever they could reach.

The owner of Bread Space said the event was originally intended to help more people discover their products, and the overwhelming response was unexpected. The shop is located at Shop 1–2, G/F, Chung Man House, Oi Man Estate, and bakes a range of Hong Kong-style and European-style bread fresh daily.
